The final stop in our Great Caraga Adventure is the quaint little city of Tandag. The City of Tandag is one of the most promising tourist destinations in the Caraga Region. With its very own airport, interesting spots, and amazing local culture, this gateway to the wonders of Region XIII is fast becoming a tourist favorite.

Our home for two days and one night was the Villa Maria Luisa Hotel.
The hotel looks bland from the outside. But inside, it’s pretty dashing and interesting.
Behind the hotel, two huge pools can be found.

Right behind the hotel is one of the most beautiful things you will see in Tandag City.
We traveled for a couple of minutes to the Twin Islands of Linungao. See tha small island? Opposite that, and forming the mouth of a small bay, is an exactly similar looking island.
Local kids playing with their battery-operated toy boat.
We then climbed up one of the islands.
On top was this beautiful grotto of the Our Lady of Lourdes.
A concrete walkway can be seen behind the grotto. We were told that this walkway leads to a cave filled with bats. We didn’t go there, however. We simply enjoyed the amazing view of the fishing village below instead.
Amazing view, don’t you think?
Going down the steps back to our waiting van.
Our final stop was the sea-side plaza of Tandag. Beautiful
